About Dr. Hockley
Dr. W. Keven Hockley has been a resident of Essex County virtually his entire life. He presently resides in LaSalle with his wife Laurie and their 3 children. After Graduating as an Ontario Scholar from Walkerville Collegiate in Windsor, he went on to complete his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Windsor. In 1990 he graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (with distinction). Dr. Hockley associated briefly in Wiarton, Ontario where he was a member of Bruce Peninsula Health Services Dental Staff.
In 1991, the Hockleys returned to Windsor to begin general family practice in Dentistry, and of course start their family. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hockley enjoys being active in his children's sporting activities. He has coached for several years with both the LaSalle Stompers Soccer Club and LaSalle Minor Hockey Association, currently serving as the President. Other interests and activities include photography, anything to do with computers or technology, skiing, hockey, golf and the great outdoors.
Dr. Hockley has also been very active in organized dentistry serving on several committees with the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and the Essex County Dental Society, serving as the society's President in 1995. Professional development occupies an important place with Dr. H as well, as evidenced by over 60 hours per year participation in seminars and courses related to Dentistry.
